He graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department in Middle East Technical University, 1981. Then He took his MBA degree in Middle East Universiy, 1985.
He had worked for Enka Foreign Trade Inc for 2 years and for IGEME ( Undersecreteriat for Foreign Trade and Treasury ) as Head of Trade Fairs Department for another 2 years. After 1991, He had worked for Tütünbank for 4 years as Credits and Marketing Vice Manager at headquarters. Then, he had worked there for 3. 5 years, responsible for branch management in commercial banking as a manager. In 1998, I began to work for Dışbank, responsible for setting up corporate and commercial banking sales and marketing organization. As a corporate and commercial department, his team was responsible for opening new branches, performance management, recruiting the branch staff, and acting together with the branches to accomplish the sales budget. In 2002, he was assigned as West Mediterranean Regional Manager and moved to Antalya. He has worked as a regional manager until 2005, when Dışbank was acquired by Fortis, responsible for the management all branches along West Mediterranean, Denizli, Afyon, Konya, Burdur, and Isparta. As Dışbank became Fortis, in accordance with the business concept of Fortis, He began to work as the “ Business Center Manager” in Antalya, responsible mainly for corporate, commercial and private banking. In 2011 Fortis merged with TEB as a result of Fortis Europe quit its operations. He recently worked for Güven Varlık Yönetim A.Ş. as directly reporting to the general manager, analyzing and assessing the commercial nonperforming loans of bank portfolios during tender processes. He was also engaged in managing the direct relationships with bank staff either in tender process or single case negotiation process.
Throughout his professional career in banking extensively and last 2 years in distressed asset management, he gained deep experience in corporate, commercial and retail banking and NPL management. He had also a wide range of customer portfolio in different sectors while building a strong network with banking professionals, company shareholders, and professional staff. One of the major benefits he gained from banking career is that he has taken too many professional training and seminars domestically and internationally (UK, USA, France, Belgium) on different subjects like finance, bank management, performance management, HR, negotiation, sales and marketing, coaching, organization.
Burcu is a Management Consultant at Egon Zehnder International. She worked as a Consumer Sales and Business Development Executive at Dell Company and as a Group Manager at Procter and Gamble. Burcu holds a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Serhat received his Bachelor degree in Economics from Marmara University, where he received his MBA in 2000. He holds a PhD in Contemporary Business Management from Isik University with a dissertation on Change Management and Leadership topic. He started his professional career in Marmara University, Department of Business Administration as a research assistant between 1998 and 2000. He joined Tekofaks/Panasonic group of companies in 2000 and had executive, general manager, CEO, managing partner and board member positions for 11 years. During his professional career he managed above 300 million USD balance sheets, sales teams operating in 81 cities through 6 regions, prize winning marketing campaigns in Turkey, and sales campaigns honored by Panasonic Global & Panasonic Europe organizations. He designed and completed the M&A process between Panasonic Corp. and Tekofaks which was Panasonic’s exclusive Turkey distributer from 1981 to 2008. Since 2011, he has been the founding CEO and Chairman of TeKeN A.S. based in Istanbul, Turkey operating in consumer electronics and mobile telecommunication sectors and TeQeN GmbH based in Stuttgart, Germany operating in renewable energy sectors. Besides, he is the co-founder of WSI-Next Generation Marketing Co. as the Turkish franchisee of the world’s no.1 Digital Marketing Franchise company. He is involved in training and consulting facilities with the goal of sharing his experiences gathered through harmonizing theory and practice. Bora Yilmaz is working at Revo Capital and responsible for deal selection, portfolio management and mentorship, since September 2013. He spent the last fifteen years in Turkey and CIS region, managing and participating in more than 500 interactive mobile, web and TV projects. After being involved in all the life cycle management of product management in leading Turkish companies such as Arcelik or Turkcell, he followed his entrepreneur instincts and formed a GSM services company which provided unique solutions or ‘marketing, product management and competition consultancy’ for operators in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Turkey. He had to interrupt his entrepreneur career abroad after five years due to family reasons and settled back to Turkey in 2010 and started to lead several in-corporate startup projects including an online travel portal, a personal cloud service, an online education site and an e-commerce project in Turkcell as an entrepreneur in residence before moving to Tahincioglu as IT Business Development Manager, managing IT investments until moving to Revo.
Gulsum Ciraci has extensive experience in entrepreneurship in Turkey. She developed the first research activities on entrepreneurship. The books published by these activities include the findings on effects of entrepreneurship on unemployment and entrepreneurship climate in 9 Turkish cities. She was given a social responsibility award when she developed a project locating Istanbul based technology companies to different incubators in Asia Minor. She also helped creating four incubators just for women. She developed the largest entrepreneurship training project, where she trained more than 8000 people. She also co-created a first project for entrepreneur seeding with Avea, a major mobile operator in Turkey. Gulsum Ciraci is a managing partner in Startupbootcamp Istanbul. She is also the founder and CEO of Istanbul Angel Investor Center (IMYM).
Burak Kir has graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 1990. He began his professional career at Koc Holding after completing his Master’s degree in Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, International Marketing. After working as International Marketing and Sales Coordinator in Beko Electronic in several countries, Kir had changed his path to the RAM Foreing Trade Inc and became General Manager of RAM Henkel in Kazakhistan. In the foundation phase and after, Burak Kir was Sales Manager of Aria-of-Tim Telecommunications Inc. during the period between 2001 and 2004. Since 2004, he has been working as the CEO of Tikle while he is continuing his Doctoral degree in marketing in Bahcesehir University. He has been giving Mobile Marketing, E-business & Internet Marketing and High Technology Marketing Management lectures at Bahcesehir University. Mr. Kir, who has a good command of English, Russian and Italian, is also the Founding Board Member of Turkey Businessmen Association in Kazakhstan (KATIAD). Numan Numan is a Managing Director at 212 with a solid background in global technology services and international management. Figen had her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and started her carreer as foreign trade expert in multinational foreign trade companies. After 5 years of experience, she made her first step to entrepreneurship with forming her own foreign trade company. As the General Manager of the company, she focused on textile and white goods industry and gained knowledge and expertise about contracted manufacturing and exportation.Throughout 12 years, company realized various volumes of exportation all over the world and mainly specialized in African countries. In 2007, she changed her career path to health and wellness industry. Currently she is working as General Manager of The Lifeco, Turkey’s pioneer healthy living and wellness company.
Omer is the Project Coordinator at Basaksehir Living Lab and the Managing Partner of Excellere Management Consulting. He is also the Managing Partner of Orli Management Consulting. Before that, he worked in Ericsson, Turkcell, and The LifeCo companies. Omer holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Production Engineering from University of Aston, UK. Gemicioglu Law Office was founded in 1970 by Orhan Gemicioglu in Istanbul. He serves in Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). He started his career at Grasso and went on to become the Secretary General of Chamber of Industry. He was the General Manager of Cicisan and Suntasan A.S. and Santek AS. He was the Chairman of Finnish – Turkish Business Council and Turkish – Swedish Business Council, also Vice Chairman of Turkish – EU Business Council. He was an Honorary Ambassador to Courchavel Ski Resort. He has excellent knowledge of Turkish bureaucracy, Turkish Holdings, Ministries, Universities, State Planning Organization-SPO, Foreign Economic Relation Board-DEIK, Confederation Of Chambers of Commerce-TOBB, SMSs, Chambers of Commerce, Organized Industrial Districts, NGOs and other business organizations. Yilmaz has a strong access to the EU /Brussels, private and public companies, enterprises, European Delegation in Ankara, Research Institutions, Technoparks, European Development Bank, Framework Program 7-FPVII, European Investment Bank, Turkish Development Banks,commercial banks and business associations in every part of Turkey. Bora Sahinoglu completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Belgium. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Master degree in Computer Engineering and Business Administration from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons. In 1989, Sahinoglu joined GIB Group, Belgium’s largest retail store chain. Bilhan Bilge is responsible for driving sales in Turkey for Microsoft Advertising. He joined Microsoft in August, 2011 bringing to the team 14y in ad sales experience; 8y spent online, 5y in TV and 1 year in radio. He started his ad sales career in Show TV as a sales manager followed by 4 years sales director experience and then started to work for Sahibinden.com as an ad sales and marketing manager, leading listing online entity of Turkey. After 1 year tenure with Sahibinden.com he joined one of Actera Group Companies, Spectrum Media (Super Fm, Metro Fm, Joy Fm, Joyturk and Radio Mydonose) as a Deputy General Manager managing ad sales and ad sales operations. His last company prior to joining Microsoft was Acunn.com, start-up online business of Acun Ilicali, one of the most successful producers of TV business, Bilhan acted as the GM of Acunn.com. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Physics Engineering Department and he has a MBA degree from Yeditepe University. Bilhan is passionate about strategy (thinking), execution (doing) combined with a passion for people (customers, partner and employees) and technology. He is married and lives in Istanbul. Kutlu Kazanci graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with distinction in 2000. Kutlu then worked in investment banking for JPMorgan and BCP Securities in New York until 2005 and gained experience analyzing companies from a financial and strategic point of view. Following a one year assignment as a research analyst to the World Bank Jakarta, Kutlu returned to Turkey to join the founding team of Endeavor’s Turkey office from 2006 to 2008. Endeavor is an international NGO that supports entrepreneurs in developing countries. Since 2009, Kutlu has been providing lean transformation services via his consulting company Endogen. In 2010, Kutlu cofounded We-decide, a Danish Turkish company that offers group innovation and decision making platforms. In 2011, Kutlu was one of the founders of Galata Angel Investment Club. In 2012, Kutlu launched Founder Institute Turkey and has been running it. Seda Çelik Teker has 20 years of diversified experience in business development, planning, implementation and operation of new projects related to sales & marketing, supply chain management, controlling activities; investment planning in multinational companies. Due to her experience, she has both professional and academic perspectives for business solutions.
She is listed as one of the top 100 women CEO’s in Turkey by HAY Group and Ekonomist. She currently teaches at the Turkish-German University in the Department of Industrial Engineering and is also leading Industrial Relations of the university. She is also the mentor of a project supported by the ministry of economics and commerce.
Yeşim Güra is an experienced executive in FMCG and Food & Beverage.
Ms. Yeşim Gura has started her career in 1991 with Procter & Gamble in Finance in Turkey, and spent 13 years working in various roles from Financial Analysis to Sales Finance, Product Supply Finance, Corporate Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Forecasting and Strategic Planning. As the Finance Manager of the Sanipak JV with Eczacıbaşı, Ms Güra had a seat in the Board of Directors of Sanipak which gave her valuable exposure. Following this experience Ms. Güra was leading the valuation for the acquisition and restructuring that followed; merging three legal entities of P&G into one. The Finance experience gave full VUCA exposure; living through 1994 and 2001 economic crises. Ms. Güra’s latest role in P&G was Associate Director for the whole Finance Organization, managing all of the 10+ product categories (from Laundry Detergents to Haircare, Snacks, Health & Beauty Care, Paper Products and more).
Following P&G experience, she joined Danone Company in Turkey as VP Finance in March 2004, right after the acquisition of shares from Sabancı. She transformed the Finance Organization to a %100 Danone Company through organization restructuring, systems and reporting set up and managing cultural changes. After three years, a new role was given to her as a preparation to General Management; the role of Business Unit Director of the HOD (Home Office Delivery) Business Unit; as an Accelerated Business Unit. Rapid growth, managing 500+ distributors, reaching 400,000+ homes direct, yielding high double-digit profit margin and new geographical expansion through acquisition. This responsibility led to promotion to General Manager of Waters Division in Turkey in January 2009.
Yeşim Güra held the General Managers Water Turkey role for 8 years until February 2017. During this period, a new Joint Venture was formed through Danone’s acquisition of Sırma Beverage Company shares (50,1%) in July 2013. While this JV was managed as a separate legal entitiy, Ms. Güra was in a position to lead it from many angles; definition of a strategic roadmap, brand and sales strategies, organizational support and synergies in operations. The combined businesses had a major complexity with 10 factories, 10+ warehouses, 1500 people.
During her tenure, she set up the Sales and Distribution Operations for Hayat and Akmina after a period of five years of exclusive distribution with Ülker. Also has led several key innovation projects which achieved profitable growth for the Company and also grew the Beverage Category. Some of these ideas were exported to Danone Companies abroad (Spain, France, Mexico) as best practices. Ms.Güra also led R&D projects to launch new categories, set up a digital roadmap and new business models for growth.
Throughout this role, Ms Güra was the Board Member of SUDER (Water Association) and the Chairman for a period of four years. She also was Executive member of the Danone Waters Board of Directors.
Yeşim Güra later joined Altıparmak Gıda (Balparmak) in March 2017 as the first General Manager of the Company, leading an important mission to bring back the Company to growth following several years of no growth, opening up internationally and leading Corporate Governance. The results at the end of 2017 were : double digit strong profitable growth, a new project kicked off to open globally starting with Middle East as planned through a strategic distribution partnership, and new partnerships formed with EBRD and other Corporations to move along the Corporate Governance Roadmap.
Yeşim Güra has decided to leave this role as of early January 2018 to focus on new ventures. Today, Ms.Güra is assisting young startups, companies through a model of strategic business consultation and coaching-mentoring.
Ms. Güra is an ICF Coach, accredited by Gestalt Coaching in June 2017.
