Sinem Guler, is an enthusiastic product management professional, working for BSH with +10 years’ experience including solid financial affairs background earlier in her career. After managing Consumer Products for 3 years, she is now responsible as the head of Dish Care category within a region of 80+ countries mostly focusing on emerging markets. She is skilled in strategic planning and target setting, launch management, multiple brand management, strategy building for new market entries, P&L analysis and defining profit-generating opportunities for related product categories. Holds a BA degree in Economics, and MBA from Istanbul Technical University during which she had focused on International Marketing.
Eda Şahbaz is the Head of Connected Products and Platforms-Regional Digital Transition of BSH for Turkey, Middle East, Africa and CIS region. She is responsible for partner ecosystem and business development of BSH’s smart home appliances platform ‘Home Connect’ as well as the expansion of connected solutions of BSH in the region.
Before joining BSH she took several roles at Turkcell’s Digital Services and Solutions Department including Senior IOT Partnership Manager for connected car, energy and smart industry solutions, Senior IOT Product Manager for smart city and farming solutions and she also worked as a Strategic Projects Manager in Consumer Marketing Department. Prior to Turkcell she worked for Siemens A.Ş. as a Commercial Project Manager for Energy projects of Siemens in Turkey and Middle East region. She also worked as a teaching assistant at Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia after her graduation from Marmara University Business Administration Department with major in Marketing.

Seda Celik Teker
Seda Çelik Teker has 20 years of diversified experience in business development, planning, implementation and operation of new projects related to sales & marketing, supply chain management, controlling activities; investment planning in multinational companies. Due to her experience, she has both professional and academic perspectives for business solutions.
She is listed as one of the top 100 women CEO’s in Turkey by HAY Group and Ekonomist. She currently teaches at the Turkish-German University in the Department of Industrial Engineering and is also leading Industrial Relations of the university. She is also the mentor of a project supported by the ministry of economics and commerce.
Yeşim Güra is an experienced executive in FMCG and Food & Beverage.
Ms. Yeşim Gura has started her career in 1991 with Procter & Gamble in Finance in Turkey, and spent 13 years working in various roles from Financial Analysis to Sales Finance, Product Supply Finance, Corporate Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Forecasting and Strategic Planning. As the Finance Manager of the Sanipak JV with Eczacıbaşı, Ms Güra had a seat in the Board of Directors of Sanipak which gave her valuable exposure. Following this experience Ms. Güra was leading the valuation for the acquisition and restructuring that followed; merging three legal entities of P&G into one. The Finance experience gave full VUCA exposure; living through 1994 and 2001 economic crises. Ms. Güra’s latest role in P&G was Associate Director for the whole Finance Organization, managing all of the 10+ product categories (from Laundry Detergents to Haircare, Snacks, Health & Beauty Care, Paper Products and more).
Following P&G experience, she joined Danone Company in Turkey as VP Finance in March 2004, right after the acquisition of shares from Sabancı. She transformed the Finance Organization to a %100 Danone Company through organization restructuring, systems and reporting set up and managing cultural changes. After three years, a new role was given to her as a preparation to General Management; the role of Business Unit Director of the HOD (Home Office Delivery) Business Unit; as an Accelerated Business Unit. Rapid growth, managing 500+ distributors, reaching 400,000+ homes direct, yielding high double-digit profit margin and new geographical expansion through acquisition. This responsibility led to promotion to General Manager of Waters Division in Turkey in January 2009.
Yeşim Güra held the General Managers Water Turkey role for 8 years until February 2017. During this period, a new Joint Venture was formed through Danone’s acquisition of Sırma Beverage Company shares (50,1%) in July 2013. While this JV was managed as a separate legal entitiy, Ms. Güra was in a position to lead it from many angles; definition of a strategic roadmap, brand and sales strategies, organizational support and synergies in operations. The combined businesses had a major complexity with 10 factories, 10+ warehouses, 1500 people.
During her tenure, she set up the Sales and Distribution Operations for Hayat and Akmina after a period of five years of exclusive distribution with Ülker. Also has led several key innovation projects which achieved profitable growth for the Company and also grew the Beverage Category. Some of these ideas were exported to Danone Companies abroad (Spain, France, Mexico) as best practices. Ms.Güra also led R&D projects to launch new categories, set up a digital roadmap and new business models for growth.
Throughout this role, Ms Güra was the Board Member of SUDER (Water Association) and the Chairman for a period of four years. She also was Executive member of the Danone Waters Board of Directors.
Yeşim Güra later joined Altıparmak Gıda (Balparmak) in March 2017 as the first General Manager of the Company, leading an important mission to bring back the Company to growth following several years of no growth, opening up internationally and leading Corporate Governance. The results at the end of 2017 were : double digit strong profitable growth, a new project kicked off to open globally starting with Middle East as planned through a strategic distribution partnership, and new partnerships formed with EBRD and other Corporations to move along the Corporate Governance Roadmap.
Yeşim Güra has decided to leave this role as of early January 2018 to focus on new ventures. Today, Ms.Güra is assisting young startups, companies through a model of strategic business consultation and coaching-mentoring.

During his career at BSH Home Appliances Group, he gained international experience in various roles, being responsible for Marketing in Ukraine, Product Management in South East Asia and India and since 2014 he is leading Category Laundry Care for a region with 80+ countries including Turkey, Middle East, Africa and CIS.

Murat Hatipoğlu is the Regional Head of Marketing Strategy at BSH. He is responsible for Strategy, Business Development, Consumer Insights, Market Intelligence, Innovation and Product Training for 80+ countries in the region.
Prior to BSH, Murat was a management consultant for 10 years; first with Peppers & Rogers Group, then with EY (Ernst & Young). He worked with several multinational clients in 10+ countries in Turkey, Middle East, Africa and Europe. His focus areas included corporate strategy, customer experience, multichannel strategies, organizational, digital and cultural transformation programs.
Before his consulting roles, Murat spent 6 years in retail banking with Garanti, TEB and Citibank mostly focusing on digital banking, new product and business development areas in Turkey and the MEA region. Murat holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
Serhat received his Bachelor degree in Economics from Marmara University, where he received his MBA in 2000. He holds a PhD in Contemporary Business Management from Isik University with a dissertation on Change Management and Leadership topic. He started his professional career in Marmara University, Department of Business Administration as a research assistant between 1998 and 2000. He joined Tekofaks/Panasonic group of companies in 2000 and had executive, general manager, CEO, managing partner and board member positions for 11 years. During his professional career he managed above 300 million USD balance sheets, sales teams operating in 81 cities through 6 regions, prize winning marketing campaigns in Turkey, and sales campaigns honored by Panasonic Global & Panasonic Europe organizations. He designed and completed the M&A process between Panasonic Corp. and Tekofaks which was Panasonic’s exclusive Turkey distributer from 1981 to 2008. Since 2011, he has been the founding CEO and Chairman of TeKeN A.S. based in Istanbul, Turkey operating in consumer electronics and mobile telecommunication sectors and TeQeN GmbH based in Stuttgart, Germany operating in renewable energy sectors. Besides, he is the co-founder of WSI-Next Generation Marketing Co. as the Turkish franchisee of the world’s no.1 Digital Marketing Franchise company. He is involved in training and consulting facilities with the goal of sharing his experiences gathered through harmonizing theory and practice. He owns the ‘Degisim Doktoru’ brand (Stands for “Doctor for Change”) as registered mark and builds this brand framed by a creative vision. He facilitates training and consultancy as “Degisim Doktoru” on top executive personal basis, and as Linkage Inc. Principal Consultant on corporate basis. Figen had her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and started her career as foreign trade expert in multinational foreign trade companies. After 5 years of experience, she made her first step to entrepreneurship with forming her own foreign trade company. As the General Manager of the company, she focused on textile and white goods industry and gained knowledge and expertise about contracted manufacturing and exportation. Throughout 12 years, company realized various volumes of exportation all over the world and mainly specialized in African countries. In 2007, she changed her career path to health and wellness industry. Currently, she is working as General Manager of The Lifeco, Turkey’s pioneer healthy living and wellness company.
Bora Gemicioglu was born in Istanbul in 1980. He graduated from Galatasaray High School in 1999 and within the same year he commenced his undergraduate education at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law. After he completed his undergraduate education in 2004, he started his graduate education on European Union Law at Essex University Faculty of Law and earned his master”s degree in 2006. He is a PhD student on private law at Istanbul University. Bora Gemicioglu has been practicing law as a member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2006. He provides consulting and case management services to various companies from different sectors, and he has also been taking part in mergers and acquisitions processes. He is fluent in English and French.
Yilmaz Cakir is an experienced businessman who served as a C-level executive for several national and multinational companies. He is the founder of ARA Limited. He serves in Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). He started his career at Grasso and went on to become the Secretary General of Chamber of Industry. He was the General Manager of Cicisan and Suntasan A.S. and Santek AS. He was the Chairman of Finnish – Turkish Business Council and Turkish – Swedish Business Council, also Vice Chairman of Turkish – EU Business Council. He was an Honorary Ambassador to Courchavel Ski Resort. He has excellent knowledge of Turkish bureaucracy, Turkish Holdings, Ministries, Universities, State Planning Organization-SPO, Foreign Economic Relation Board-DEIK, Confederation Of Chambers of Commerce-TOBB, SMSs, Chambers of Commerce, Organized Industrial Districts, NGOs and other business organizations. Yilmaz has a strong access to the EU /Brussels, private and public companies, enterprises, European Delegation in Ankara, Research Institutions, Technoparks, European Development Bank, Framework Program 7-FPVII, European Investment Bank, Turkish Development Banks,commercial banks and business associations in every part of Turkey. He was has honored by the Finnish President Tarja Halonen with a first class “White Rose” decoration in 2009.
Bora Sahinoglu completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Belgium. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Master degree in Computer Engineering and Business Administration from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons. In 1989, Sahinoglu joined GIB Group, Belgium’s largest retail store chain. Between 1992-1996, Sahinoglu worked as a Vice President and member of board for Öztüre Kimtas (Izmir), a joint venture between Carmeuse Group (Belgium) – worldwide 2nd largest lime producer – and Öztüre Holding (Turkey). Bora Sahinoglu moved to Istanbul in 1994, and became partner of Netsis a major Turkish ERP software company where he held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 1999 he left Netsis and founded Tikle a technology company developing Internet and mobile Internet solutions. Tikle has become a success story and one of the most recognizable brand in the Turkish mobile service market. Today Tikle is the market leader in the mobile services business working in active partnership with the three Turkish mobile operators: Turkcell, Vodafone and Avea. Ethem Topgül graduated from Yıldız Technical University Computer Engineering Department in 2002. In 2009, he completed Master of Business Administration program at Bilgi University. Burcin Orhon is the Co-Founder of WSI Next Generating Marketing.

Burak Kir has graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 1990. He began his professional career at Koc Holding after completing his Master’s degree in Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, International Marketing. After working as International Marketing and Sales Coordinator in Beko Electronic in several countries, Kir had changed his path to the RAM Foreing Trade Inc and became General Manager of RAM Henkel in Kazakhistan. In the foundation phase and after, Burak Kir was Sales Manager of Aria-of-Tim Telecommunications Inc. during the period between 2001 and 2004. Since 2004, he has been working as the CEO of Tikle while he is continuing his Doctoral degree in marketing in Bahcesehir University. He has been giving Mobile Marketing, E-business & Internet Marketing and High Technology Marketing Management lectures at Bahcesehir University. Mr. Kir, who has a good command of English, Russian and Italian, is also the Founding Board Member of Turkey Businessmen Association in Kazakhstan (KATIAD).
