Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, out-going, creative, self-starter, energetic full-time Business Development Expert, who will have a chance to develop and deliver disruptive solutions in the connected car ecosystem, including Insurance, Car Rental and Automotive industries.


Company and Industry Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of OTTOO’s business model, existing clients, case studies, potential clients, and the related industries, as a whole
  • Attend relevant industries events and conferences to broaden knowledge of connected car relevant industries

Prospect and Outreach

  • Target and identify potential key contacts based on new business strategies
  • Prospect into multiple organizations via e-mail, cold-calling, and networking, utilizing online information sources such as LinkedIn, social media, and other professional networking sites
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a list of contacts to set introductory calls and meetings with prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate and close contracts, and sales agreements
  • Actively sell OTTOO solutions to clients until a sales team is formed

Support for the Management Team

  • Organize meeting preparation and follow-up notes for introductory meetings
  • Regularly communicate goal progress to the Management team including: prospect list building, outreach, viable opportunities, and risks
  • Use online databases to locate viable Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that we can respond to
  • Start and maintain customer relationship management system and ensure that it contains accurate and up-to-date account details and contact information for prospects

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in business development and B2B sales
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter’s mentality
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written, verbal, and social skills
  • Desire to exceed quantitative goals day-after-day
  • Strong passion for disruption
  • Ability to build rapport with senior level professionals
  • Thirst to learn and take initiative as part of a small team working to grow
  • Knowledge and experience using CRM is a plus
  • Positive attitude
